It's safe to say that this is the loudest album that I ever worked on and I love it! February 13, 2019 Normally I only use this site for posting about my work in the pop & rock genres, as I keep my dance-releases under my alter ego 'Robin Valo'. But this was just too big of a milestone for me to not post it here too. I just received an award for co-writing 'Release' by Atmozfears! It's in honor of getting over 10.000.000 streams both on spotify and on youtube. I always dreamed of stuff like this and it feels damn good to finally put this one on my studio wall! Thanks so much to Matthijs Noordhuis and the nice people over at Scantraxx, David Spekter for his amazing vocal, and Atmozfears for creating this banger. 
February 7, 2019 Had the pleasure of producing/mixing the new Call It Off single 'Maybe I Don't Wanna Know', which is out today! January 29, 2019 I'm building a new studio soon! It's located in the middle of the country in a village called Soesterberg, and will contain a live room and 3 control rooms. Will keep you posted :-) I hope to move before summer, but until then I'll just keep working as usual in my studio in Ridderkerk.

September 2, 2018 Really enjoyed co-writing 4 tracks with Jasper Mook that ended up on his brand new album! Think 5 Seconds of Summer-like pop with a hint of We The Kings-like poppunk. Track 2, 4, 5 and 7 we wrote together. July 26, 2018 The Young River has done it again: writing a killer POP tune that sounds like summer! Co-produced this with Nick Jongejan & mixed it! July 6, 2018 Ever since the first time I saw Call It Off live in 2014 they've been my favorite Dutch pop/punk band, and I was lucky enough to get the chance to produce & mix their full length album 'Abandoned'. The blood, sweat & tears we poured in it paid off: the album got released on Sony Music early 2017, and eventually 4 singles from the album got regular airplay on 3FM. Today is the start of a new chapter for them, and the release of their brand new single. Very happy to be a part of it again. Go and give them some love! This one is more mellow pop than their other songs & it was a lot of fun to create! Keith Urban meets Simple Plan meets Justin Bieber if you ask me. December 30, 2017 As 2017 comes to an end, I'd like to say a huge thank you to everybody that chose me to create new music with. It means a lot to get the chance to make music every day, and makes me want to keep getting better as a producer & songwriter. Some highlights: 2018 is looking bright. I wish you a new year where music gives you everything you dreamed of, except for that tiny bit to keep you reaching on your toes. Cheers!

June 26, 2017 This is a big one for me: I co-wrote Hardwell's new release in Asia where it's out now on Universal Music! Featuring Taiwanese superstar Jolin Tsai! March 20, 2017 I had the chance to produce/mix three new singles for Mathias Vergels, in Belgium well-known as actor in tv-series 'Thuis'. His first single is now released on Sony Music Belgium, and instantly added to the playlist of one of Belgium's biggest radio stations MNM! January 6, 2017 After getting A LOT of airplay with their last single, Call It Off is back with a brandnew single taken from their upcoming album on Sony Music that I produced & mixed. Love this video! November 9, 2016 Freshly signed to Sony Music, Call It Off is announced as 'serious talent' on major Dutch radio station Radio 3FM after they released their single 'Abandoned' that I produced and mixed. Worked so hard on these songs, so good to hear this on national radio now. Congrats!

Life's Electric got awarded a '3FM Serious Talent' spot earlier this year, and tonight their brand new follow-up single 'King Of Second Chances' will be premiered on 3FM. This one was really fun to produce/mix and you definitely want to check this out if you're into bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Foo Fighters or anything in between. More rock on the radio! August 26, 2016 Boom! Today is Call It Off's first release since signing to Sony Music! Which also means that it's actually my debut on a major label as a producer/mixer. April 14, 2016 I am now featured on Noise Creators: a new platform from the USA helping artists & music industry finding the right producer or mixing engineer. The site was founded by one of the biggest A&R-managers in rock music Johnny Minardi (Fueled By Ramen, Atlantic Records, Equal Vision, etc) and he had some nice words to say about my work! Also pretty cool to see my name in between some of my favorite producers, like James Paul Wisner and Joey Sturgis :-) They also put up a spotify link with some of my production/mixing here 
April 14, 2016 Congrats to Life's Electric with being 'Serious Talent' on Radio 3FM! They recently did some aftershows for Muse and one of the songs we recorded overhere has already been getting some good airplay lately. Check their Serious Talent page on 3fm.nl here. 
January 13, 2016 I've been writing toplines (vocal melody & lyrics) to some dance tracks in the last two years, and today I saw that three of those tracks are in the 2016 edition of the Hardstyle top 2000 of all time. Definitely didn't see this coming! 
October 26, 2015 Had the honour of producing & mixing The Overslept's new single, really glad with the outcome. Great young and talented pop/rock band that already supported Simple Plan a few times this year. Convinced they're gonna achieve more in the near future! October 26, 2015 Really enjoyed working on new PollyAnna songs the last few months. Brandnew single 'Rollercoaster' is out! It was a pleasure to work with (in my eyes) one of Europe's top notch pop punk / rock bands: I already loved their music long before they contacted me - these guys sure know how to craft a song! March 9, 2015 Last saturday I started pre-production with one of my favourite bands in The Netherlands: Call It Off! If you haven't heard them yet, you probably will soon: they got a good buzz going on and just signed with Friendly Fire booking agency. Totally blown away by their new demos!
